ABS On-line Credit Card Payment Dues Form using Google Checkout

Google checkout requires you to have a Google e-mail account so you can receive e-mail notifications of your payments. You may use this to pay your ABS membership dues electronically

 

Why we use Google checkout.

  • Quick and secured payment processing
  • Saves the society money over other card processing options
  • Saves staff time since we must otherwise re-enter your information into a web portal
  • Provides "real time" card authorization
  • You may use your existing Google e-mail address. This is the address google will send you invoice.

    • (If you are unable to use google checkout there are other options available.)

NOTE: if you are having a problem with the cart - please try the latest version of the firefox browser, safari, google chrome or IE- upgraded support for safari and some versions of internet explorer is being worked on by google so may or may not work correctly in those browsers. Please send us the error report so we can make google is notified.

To qualify for the developing nations rate, you must currently live and work in a developing nation. The following are NOT considered developing nations: The United States,Canada, Israel, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, The United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

All Membership categories include online subscription to the society’s quarterly Newsletter (paper subscription upon request).

Online Journal access provides internet access via Elsevier’s site to the monthly journal Animal Behaviour, including archives..

Paper Journal subscription is a 12 month subscription to the monthly journal Animal Behaviour. Subscription will normally begin with the next available issue and continue for 12 months.

Refund policy:

There are no refunds for membership dues. However, for those with a paper subscription, difficulties can be resolved with the ABS Central Office on a case by case basis.

Note::

  • If you order the print journal, it typically arrives within 6-8 weeks.
  • If you order the online journal, please allow 2-6 weeks before activating your online account to Science Direct. We typically report new memberships at the start of each month and they are loaded into Science Direct within a week or ten days after that date. Science Direct is a independent third party, with their own authorization scheme, and not directly associated with the Animal Behavior Society.
